How to turn off background colour when you want to print a page.
 
OK here it goes -

You're on this website (or others) and you say, "I want to print off this page without the background colour included - How do I do it???"

Click on one of the links here to go to your set of instructions - or if your browser isn't here then you should be able to figure out what to do by reading these.

Internet Explorer - Various Versions - e.g.. - IE5

1. Open Internet explorer.

2. Click "Tools" on the menu bar. (Mac users may have to do this from "Edit - Preferences Area"

3. Go down the drop down menu and select "Internet Options" - It's at the very bottom.

4. When the window opens - click the "Advanced" Tab

5. Scroll down the window to the "printing" option. UNCHECK THE PRINT BACKGROUND COLOUR & IMAGES BOX

6. Click OK - Every web page that you go to in the future should now this feature disabled so that it will SAVE YOU MONEY IN TONER!!

Try testing it now by doing the instructions and then print this page - most of this light gray should disappear on your printed page.

Netscape - Various Versions - e.g. - 4.77

1. Open Netscape

2. Click "File" From top menu bar.

3. On the dropdown menu select "Page Setup"

4. UNCHECK THE PRINT BACKGROUND COLOUR.

5. Click OK - Every web page that you go to in the future should now this feature disabled so that it will SAVE YOU MONEY IN TONER!!

Try testing it now by doing the instructions and then print this page - most of this light gray should disappear on your printed page.

Mozilla Users - Various Versions

1. Open Mozilla

2. Click "File" From top menu bar.

3. On the dropdown menu select "Page Setup"
